Created by Malie, this amazing ritual will renew the texture and radiance of your skin. We begin this treatment with a gentle body buff and spritz with Malie's Lime and Ginger Tonic. An application of Malie's Koke'e Clay Body Mask, which is an infusion of Kauai Clay, organic Aloe, Noni and Kava, is then done. While the mask is working we do a Chakra Warm Stone Placement before you are wrapped in warming blankets and receive a relaxing head and neck massage. Your skin will be cleansed with warm towels and then moisturized with Malie's Koke'e Lotion a wonderful blend of kukui and macademia nut oils. Thank you to Jnana and all of the staff at Spa Makaiwa....My husband and I went for a hike to Hanakapiai. The trail ended up being very slippery and in the end my knees and lower back were hurting sooooooo bad I could hardly move the next day. Thinking I could at least ease some of the pain I booked a massage at the Spa. I've never had a massage before, but after talking to the receptionist I felt comfortable enough to try it. When I got there I was greeted with unexpected warmth and compassion by everyone there, my massage therapist Jnana, the receptionist and another massage therapist waiting for her client. I felt better already. Jnana asked me questions about what I needed and took me through a step by step to help me know what to expect during the massage and also some tips to help relax deeper throughout it. Let me tell you it was the most wonderful experience I have ever had. Jnana made me feel so at peace and was able to release my lower back so I could stand straight. He also did some deep work in my thighs and calves which really helped my knees out. I am so happy to have took that chance on a new experience and now plan on getting massages done regularly at home. Hey guys, I will see you again next year!!!!! Aloha June
